Next Week: Annual Writers’ Conference in Jerusalem

On Tuesday, May 1, 2012, hundreds of Israel-based writers, authors, and poets will gather in Jerusalem’s Shirat Yerushalayim Hall for the Annual Jerusalem Writers’ Conference: a full-day women’s seminar on creating, writing and earning.

Organized by authors Esther Heller and Tamar Ansh, the conference attracts writers from across the spectrum of Orthodox Jewry, and from a variety of writing sub-fields, including technical writing, marketing writing, and children’s writing.

At the all-day conference, the Jewish E-Books team will be represented to meet with Jewish authors and publishers, as well as to discuss Jewish E-Books’ e-book production & conversion services, distribution, and marketing opportunities.

But in addition to the networking opportunities offered with publishers of leading magazines and books, the writers’ seminar will also feature interesting presentations by popular writers including Esther Heller, Tamar Ansh, Sarah Shapiro, Yael Mermelstein, Batya Ruddell, Avigail Sharer, Libi Astaire, and more.

The afternoon segment will include hands-on writing workshops and discussion groups. For more information, email Michal Borinstein at mbmb613@gmail.com.
